How It Works:
Overview
Unbreakable is a 3-month process that combines the best of
- Structured curriculum
- Group accountability

into a powerful, world-class experience that will transform your body and mind.
There are three "units" of the Unbreakable process. Each is a month long and begins with a group presentation to explore the topic. Then you'll work through a series of follow-along training sessions to learn by experience. I'll meet with you individually each month to help you fully integrate the changes that are unfolding.
Unbreakable ends with a full day of in-person training at my private facility just outside of Sacramento, CA to prepare you for a fruitful, life-long movement practice of your own.
Month 1 - The Body Map
You are a product of your environment... We all get that. .BUT you are also a product of your perception.
Meaning, how you experience the world changes how you move through it.
In Month One I'll teach you the body map to help you understand your pain at a deeper level.
What you will do in Month One:
Understand- Meet with the rest of the group in a live Zoom group call to learn The Body Map. In this 60-minute presentation I will teach you how trigger points, muscle contraction, movement patterns, fascial lines, and unexplored thought patterns create pain in your body.
Apply - Read chapters 1-3 of Born To Sprint. Then work through the 10-session body exploration series from the book OR the the 30-session Pain Fix Toolkit depending on your injury history, goals, and time. Either way, you will explore every joint and muscle in your body... But this time through the deeper lens of the Body Map.
Integrate - Assimilate everything you're learning in a deep dive, 90-minute one-on-one session with me to connect the dots. (Can be in-person at my private gym or remote via Zoom)
Month 2 - Movement Patterns
Exploring all the pieces of your body is one thing... Connecting them together for sequenced movement is another.
In Month Two I'll leach you the physiology behind connective tissue, fascial lines, and athletic skills. You'll learn why being able to sprint freely is the standard for a healthy human body.
What you will do in Month Two:
Understand- Meet with the rest of your group in a live, Zoom call to learn the 10 essential steps to reclaim your athleticism. In this 60-minute presentation I will teach you why posture, pressure, and pace are essential for a healthy body and how to safely reintroduce impact to your training.
Apply - Read Chapters 4-5 of Born To Sprint. Then work through the 10 sessions of the Backyard Athlete OR the 10 athletic calibration sessions from the book depending on your experience and ability. We'll also touch on the art of natural running with parts of the Running Reset Masterclass.
Integrate - Assimilate everything you're learning in a deep dive, 90-minute one-on-one session with me to connect the dots. (Can be in-person at my private gym or remote via Zoom)
Month 3 - Reclaiming Athleticism
Learning skills by practicing techniques is not the same as embodying those movements in a felt expression. In other words, You can't be athletic if you're stuck in your head.
In Month Three I'll teach how to create immersive experiences that guarantee learning by optimizing for fun and focus.
What you will do in Month Three:
Understand - Meet with the rest of your group in a live Zoom call to explore to powerful concept of Differential Learning. In this 60-minute presentation I will teach you why blind repetition doesn't work, why returning to sport is essential, and how to use sound, touch, and sight to create engaging and productive training sessions.
Apply: Read chapter 6-7 of Born To Sprint. Then work through the 12-session program from the book. These sessions blend everything you've learned so far into a complete athletic experience. I'll add in bonus conditioning and mobility routines based on your ability, experience, and time.
Integrate- Assimilate everything you're learning in a deep dive, 90-minute one-on-one session with me to connect the dots. (Can be in-person at my private gym or remote via Zoom)
Graduation - The Barefoot Experience
Online work can only get you so far. For true, meaningful change to set in, you have to share the same space.
That's why we'll end Unbreakable with a full day of training as a group in my private facility, just outside of Sacramento, CA.
I will teach you the 7 S's to translate everything you've learned into an ongoing movement practice. This is the difference between going through the motions with little progress and making massive gains that flow naturally.
This will be a fun day of training, connection, sport, food, and learning.
Logistics / FAQ's
How big is each group? To keep the quality as high as possible, I'm capping each group at 6 people.
What days/times are the group calls? Likely on Sundays, but we will decide the exact times together as a group based on what works for everyone.
What if I can't make the group calls? There are only 3, so I expect you to make it a prioirty. BUT if life happens, I will record the call so you don't miss the lesson.
Where is your facility for the in-person Barefoot Experience? Just outside of Sacramento, CA. And yes, you can come train in person for the one-on-one sessions.
What date/time is the live Barefoot Experience? Most likely on the last weekend of the third month. BUT we will decide this as a group during the first call so you have time to arrange travel, etc.
What equipment/space do I need? Very little. And you don't need any of this stuff until Month Two, so you have time.
- Sandbag (or similar 50-100lb object)
- Gymnastics rings
- Soccer ball
- 3 Tennis balls
- Soft space to roll and sit on
- Space to sprint/hop/skip (ideally 60m of outdoor space)
